The goal of the Math Department is to meet the needs of all students.  We will endeavor to provide meaningful opportunities for students to demonstrate the academic knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to enter into and succeed in postsecondary and/or workplace training programs.  We will prepare students who are interested in careers involving science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.  Students will be able to identify and model problems, justify conclusions, and apply concepts to real-life situations.  Students will develop reasoning and analytical skills to make conclusions.  Students will be given opportunities to discuss the relevance of mathematics to their vocational trade.  Our mathematics program ensures that students are college and career ready.
