SkillsUSA is a national, student-run organization for students in career and technical education.  The organization promotes skill in the students' vocational program, a strong work ethic, leadership development, and community service.  Monty Tech is a 100% participation chapter.  Each student enrolled is a member of the SkillsUSA organization, but may choose the extent to which they participate in the many competitions, events, and celebrations.  The Monty Tech SkillsUSA Leadership Team is comprise of interested students who work together to organize and run events and community service projects for the chapter.  Officers for the chapter are elected from the Leadership Team annually.
