• Monty Tech’s Color Guard marches the colors at the 18 towns in our school district in parades and assemblies.  The Color Guard is a volunteer organization within JROTC that provides a professional representation of our nation’s colors at various locations throughout our school district.  In the community the Marine Corps JROTC Color Guard stands ready to perform at parades, ceremonies, sporting events, and for its host school.  Monty Tech’s Color Guard has represented the program at various events such as senior awards night, graduations, parades, the relay for life, and larger events such as Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies.

Color Guard is open to all cadets enrolled in the MCJROTC program within Monty Tech.  It is expected of cadets in the Color Guard to keep to the highest of standards as they represent Monty Tech and MCJROTC to the community.  Cadets are held to a high academic and moral standard and are expected to attend at least one of the two weekly meetings.  Cadets may be called to community service during school hours with the teachers’ permission.  Cadets interested in joining the Color Guard should contact Cadet Captain Lore or listen for Color Guard announcements during formation.

We meet on Tuesdays, from 2:45 - 6:00pm in Room #520.

Club Advisors:  1st Sgt. Paul Jornet and 1st Sgt. Shane Dillon
